Do you hold tension in your shoulders or spend long days hunched over a desk? 

We sit at our desks for hours on end every day but we forget that our body is not meant to sit for long hours. It is meant to move in all directions.

After a full day of sitting slouched in our chairs, hunched over our phones, our body gets achy especially our shoulders and neck.

These simple stretches will help you increase mobility and flexibility in your shoulders and relieve tension. I do these almost everyday as a movement break between the tasks.

Shoulder mobility and flexibility play a crucial role in maintaining overall upper body functions. It enables you to reach, lift, push, pull, and rotate your arms with ease while performing various daily activities, sports, and exercises. By having flexible shoulders, you can align your upper body correctly, which helps reduce slouching, rounded shoulders, and neck pain caused by poor posture.

Doing just 15 minutes of stretching every day can positively affect your emotional and physical state. When you move mindfully you’re placing your full attention on the movements of your body, as well as your breath. You go beyond your busy mind. You go from feeling distracted to feeling clearheaded and uplifted.
