Why is it important to set daily intentions?

“Everything about your life is coming to you in response to the focus of your thoughts.”

When you set an intention for your day, you choose your object of attention, and you tell your mind what’s important to you. Your mind becomes clear and focused on it. It moves you in a thoughtful direction.

It makes you an architect of your life. Instead of allowing a new day to jump in and dictate how your day goes for you, you become a conscious creator of your day. By getting intentional about your day, you bring more presence to your thoughts and actions. You are creator of your own experience.

Intention is not only in what you do, it is also in what you think and speak.

Setting intention is a tiny effort to consciously focus your thoughts on creating your own experience. It makes you an architect of your life. 

By giving thanks for all good you already have, you will open the door for more good to come into your life.

How to set daily intentions

Intention is a simple, positive and clear goal for your energy. It is a feeling or a vibe rather than an achievement.

It connects you to your core values.

To set your daily intention write down your top 3 core values. We feel more satisfied when we are living in alignment with our values (family, friendship, health, connection with nature…) Here is the link to core values list in case you need a little help.

Our core values are our compass, and our intention is a vow to live in accordance with them. When you get distracted during the day, it reminds you of your journey so you can make choices that align with what is most important to you.

It lifts you up & inspires you.

To enter into the spirit of intention use your imagination. Whatever you want to accomplish, treat yourself as if you already are what you’d like to become, as if you already have what you want. Use your imagination to create that feeling you’re earning for. Don’t wait for certain things to feel the way you want to feel. Give yourself that feeling of accomplishment even before it happens. Let that elevated emotion guide you.

Imagination is the one that will motivate you to create what you want not your strong willpower.

It creates beautiful thoughts, loving actions, & kind speech.

Intention possesses some amazing treats – kindness, love, and beauty. Every action that is in harmony with these qualities gives an expression to your intention. So, practice kindness towards yourself and others; love what you do, do what you love; choose to see beauty in everything. “
