Honey Coated Nuts

This simple snack is crunchy, sweet and salty.

So, take a sit on your cosy terrace, open a bottle of champagne, and enjoy this healthy, yet savoury snack.  

Take 5 Slow, Deep And Purposeful Breaths, Smile To Yourself. Set An Intention For The Meal.

Ingredients

  • 440g (3cups) mixed nuts 
  • 2 tablespoons honey (or maple syrup)

Spices: 

  • ½ teaspoon garam masala (Indian spice blend)
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon thyme
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon dried cilantro
  • 1 teaspoon dried shallots

To Make

  • Preheat the oven to 160°C (320°F).
  • In a bowl mix honey with spices. Add nuts and stir well so that all nuts get coated.  
  • Spread the nuts evenly in a baking pan lined with parchment paper or silicone baking mat.
  • Bake for 20 minutes.

Ta-dah! 🙂 

Notes:

You can make your own spice mix. Play with your favourite spices.

Use all of your senses. Notice the colour, the taste, the texture, the smell, how it feels in your mouth … Slow down, let yourself enjoy it!
