Heart Opening Vinyasa Flow

Today i’m sharing with you one of my favourite classes from my online class library.

This class is designed to open your heart, both physically and emotionally, leaving you feeling balanced, centered, and ready to embrace the world with love and compassion.

We will move through a fluid vinyasa flow focusing on heart-opening postures, creating space in our chest and shoulders, and releasing any tension that may have accumulated over time.

Moving through different baby backbends, you will strengthen the muscles in your back, stretch the muscles in the chest and shoulders, and increase mobility and flexibility of your spine.

For me, practicing backbends is a way to step out of my comfort zone. I feel energized and more emotionally stable afterwards.

How often do you take an opportunity to become still and check in with yourself?

Sometimes we need to become still and quiet to notice subtle aspects of ourselves. When you still your physical body, you can feel everything more profoundly, sensations, feelings, emotions…

There are certain things that can be only discovered and experienced when we become quiet.

This Sunday evening, carve out some time to become still and quiet. Go inward and ask yourself honestly, how you feel? Relax your body completely and become attuned to how you feel right now. Create a space where everything is welcome and invited. Every aspect of you, no matter what color, shade, flavor or tone. There is nothing to fix or manage but to experience whatever is arising with curiosity, openness and compassion. Whatever you Feel, let yourself Feel it! Don’t forget to breathe.
