Creamy green smoothie

Green Smoothie is a perfect way to sneak more leafy vegetables into your diet. This creamy green smoothie is my favourite breakfast smoothie. 

Did you know that just two Brazil nuts a day can help you to maintain or increase your selenium intake? Selenium plays a major role in important processes in your body, including your metabolism and thyroid function. When I learned this, I started eating 2 Brazil nuts every morning. 🙂

Take 5 Slow, Deep And Purposeful Breaths, Smile To Yourself. Set An Intention For The Meal.

Ingredients

Servings: 1

  • big handful of kale, chopped
  • 3 dried apricots, chopped
  • 1 medium banana
  • ½ ripe avocado
  • 1 pear, peeled
  • 2 Brazil nuts, chopped
  • 240 ml (1 cup) almond milk
  • 3 ice cubes
  •  

 

To Make

  • Add all ingredients to your blender and blend to a smooth and creamy consistency.
  • If smoothie is too thick, add more milk to thin.
  • Enjoy!

Note

  • You can use any plant-based milk.
Use all of your senses. Notice the colour, the taste, the texture, the smell, how it feels in your mouth … Slow down, let yourself enjoy it!
